defenseuptodate.com – Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is currently building on two large US Navy aircraft carriers: the USS Enterprise (CVN-80) and USS Dorris Miller (CVN-81).
In May 2022, Huntington Ingalls Industries released a video on its Youtube Channel that the USS Enterprise (CVN-80) had almost finished the entire foundation of this aircraft carrier at the Newport News Shipbuilding dry dock.

The video also shows various engineers and workers constructing the US Navy’s third Ford-class aircraft carrier. CVN-80 will use an integrated digital system in shipbuilding.
