NGAD Program
The USAF plans to retire the F-22 raptor and replace it with the NGAD Program, which is what is known as a sixth gen fighter jet.
This program will adopt a more sophisticated digital system and is expected to also adopt a laser weapon that can work with a crew or without a crew.
The NGAD is expected to have a version for the US Navy, if the program is completed. The NGAD Jet Fighter will be demonstrated at Air Force Base, and conduct an Air Show while carrying out its service period.
In FY 2023 the Pentagon returned to provide information regarding the continuation of the NGAD program.
This program adopts the F-22 technology for application to the Next Generation Air Dominance Program (NGAD). The NGAD program is expected to make the USAF’s air-to-air defense dominance system even more sophisticated.
There are several important platforms designed for the NGAD Program, namely the capability of more sophisticated and accurate modular sensors as well as wider and more accurate coverage. In this video, you can also see a demonstration of the sophistication of the NGAD F-22 Raptor, which is predicted to be the strongest sixth generation fighter in the world.
The development of increasingly sophisticated fighter jet technology allows the NGAD successor to the raptor to work with or without a crew.
